Therapy

Mindful One offers the following therapeutic services specializing in various mental health issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma/PTSD, stress, self-esteem, life transitions, grief and loss, diversity challenges, acculturation barriers, interpersonal relationship issues, LGBTQ+, etc:

 

 

Individual Therapy:  One-on-one weekly (or an agreed upon frequency) therapy with a provider whom best meets your needs.  This form of therapeutic intervention is recommended for individuals who prefer personalized attention to address needs.

Family Therapy: Counseling utilizing a systems approach to provide support in resolving conflicts, improving communication, and fostering change.  This form of therapeutic intervention is recommended for family units struggling to maintain a sense of homeostasis repair ruptures in relationships.

Couples Therapy: Counseling that focuses on improving romantic relationships, resolving interpersonal conflicts through appropriate unbiased moderation.  

Group Therapy: Counseling with a group of individuals to help with development of particular skills.  This form of therapeutic intervention allows for individuals to learn how to express their concerns, accept criticism from others and develop self-awareness by listening to others with similar issues.

           Groups Offered:

  • Adolescent Group: Teens from ages 13-17 with similar challenges looking for an avenue to express themselves and connect with others.

  • Cognitive Processing Therapy: A 12-week structured course to address underlying trauma and PTSD.

  • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction: An 8-week structured course consisting of yoga, meditation, and other mindfulness interventions to alleviation of stress, depression, anxiety, and trauma.

  • Grief and Loss/Bereavement: A method of connecting, processing and healing from loss, and finding ways to move towards a healthier and joyful way of life.

  • Mindful Parenting: Providing support to parents who are feeling challenged, overwhelmed, and stressed with parenting.  Nurturing, communication, self-reflection, and peer support are key components of this group.

  • Postpartum Support:  Processing pre and post pregnancy experiences, learning to develop coping strategies to minimize depression, stress, and other challenges.  This group focuses on empowerment and confidence-building for new and seasoned mothers.

  • Professional Consultation Group: For mental health professionals to connect and discuss their own difficulties with clients, address self-growth, and how to enhance self-care while helping others.

               Intake Evaluation:   $250.00

               Individual Therapy: $200.00

               Couples Therapy:   $200.00

               Family Therapy:      $200.00

               Group Therapy:      $75.00

*Mindful One is considered both in and out-of-network, accepting some commercial health insurances.  Please call our office to explore eligibility of services under your plan.  A sliding scale is offered on a case-by-case basis.
